NO DAB
Hi all, after picking up my new to me D4 last week , still can't get the DAB to work, just comes up with no reception, have tried all sorts of things in settings and done autotune numerous times but still nothing, also have no MW or LW stations on radio , any tips anyone? thanks in advance.
I think you'll find that there's DAB1, DAB2 and DAB3 settings and each one acts differently in different areas. For example, I can't get Heart radio (its for the kids not me) on DAB1 with the BBC channels, but I can get it on DAB2.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Hi. This has happened on both Disco's that I have bought over the last few months.
On both I had to go into "settings" and select UK. I can can only assume these settings reset if the battery is disconnected.
Both work fine now though!!..Current - 2016 Commercial SE

Thanks all. have tried everything i can think of and what has been suggested, still no DAB.
I am going to throw it back to the dealer for an inspection
Funny how i can get FM stations only, well at least the ones that are in the presets, but nothing else.

So, had an excellent auto sparky look at the car today and found that both the DAB and FM aerials were unplugged for some reason, both reconnected and all is working superbly. worth a look if yours isnt working.thanks for all suggestions and comments

I would leave it as it is, as TV is a gimmick IMHO, you can’t get a picture above 4mph as it is disabled for safety reasons, if you put the tv on when stationary it will go off after a few minutes to protect the battery so when can you use it apart from listening to the sound when travelling? It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Certainly shouldn’t be a signal strength issue with the masts at Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield.
DAB, FM and MW/LW are all on separate antennas (not on all variants though) so, it’s odd you don’t have DAB (Band 3) and MF/LF (band 1).
AM & FM share the same antenna amps but have different antennas, so if one band works it shows the fm/am diversity amps work.
The DAB antennas are not powered so not an antenna amplifier problem.
I would guess it’s the MOST network that is at fault. That is a set of fibre optic links that carry the audio from one unit to another and chains through the systems. I suspect the DAB tuner module and the radio module have been isolated on that network.Current : Discovery 4 HSE (2012 spec)
