A night in the FL2 with HM awning
Hi,
turns out you dont Have to have a D3 or 4 to sleep inside your car
although I did have to remove the rear seat base (only 2x T50 bolts) slide the front passenger seat forward and fill the gap with a bit of 3ply on legs to stop my pillow disappearing !
raided the tintent for the bunk seat cushions and had a good nights sleep laid straight
with enough head height to even sit up straight in bed
may not have had a tailgate to cook on but the bike trailer came in a good second for cooking Bacon and egg on with a hot chocolate steaming away as well on Sunday morning 8)
The Howling Moon awning was ok to put up and down on my own, although a bit more practice is in order
My home made brackets seemed secure as well.

Nice job
I still love the FL2, what a great competent and practical all-rounder - also looks classyD4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
2018 FFRR SDV8 Autobiography - Gone to someone with less sense and more time to enjoy it
2016 Toyota Hilux Invincible - Liberating experience
Sadly so does everyone else. My forecast that the ULEZ would lead to a flood of London cars at low prices so I could buy a project car has proven to be woefully misguided - prices for FL2 and Evoque are stronger than ever I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
