| Newbie with slight issues |

Hi everyone
newbie here from Ireland just bought my first Discovery 3 2.7 2007 2 weeks ago
Having two issues with it first one is my dash cluster is losing power when driving some times for only couple of secs some times could be a few minutes until i flick the key
Second problem is im getting a slight ticking noise from engine no matter cold or hot from drivers side when engine is running could it be tappit or injector leaking is this a common problem with them there is 135000 miles on it drives great but ticking noise is driving me nuts puling it into work shop tomorrow for good look over and full service just thought i ask the question before i start pulling it apart for no obvious reason lol
