New Warranty..... how much do LR want?

I was wondering ..... after three years, how much do LR currently want for an extended warranty on a Disco HSE? Toyota wanted at least 50% more than 'Warranty Direct' for example (others are available) as far as I can recall...(seemed to be like for like ... in fact better with WD - on paper at least - as I remember - but I could be wrong)...... having been with WD before ... I have to say they paid up no quibble and no 'weasley word' cop out.... your thoughts please?

When I bought my used D4 about 18 months ago, I think it was almost £1,000 for an extra year.

That was without Land Rover Assistance, as at that time I didn't realise this was an option.

£680 for Luxury care WD with dealer rates, but you will need to take time and several calls, and I know someone on here that even got £650. Whistle

I've very mixed feeling about WD after trying to make a claim for a worn out wheel bearing, which they refused to cover on the grounds that it was wear and tear, even though their policy explicitly INCLUDED wear and tear items and was sold on that basis. It took around 3 weeks of arguing before they eventually conceded and that was on an item "only" costing around £250.

Others have been luckier, but I find it difficult to trust them now.
