New Tyres needed - GoodYear Duratracs or Yokohama G15 Geolan |
|
Hi all,
New tyre time again.
Currently running on 255/55/19 Goodyear Duratracs.
Have used in the past Pirelli ATs, General Grabber ATs on my old D3.
My driving is road/farmland split, with and without trailers.
Considering buying a second set of Duratracs.
Just bought the second set of Yokohama Geolanders for our Jimny.....
So also considering the Geolanders for the D4.....
Any one using Geolanders on the D4s please and feedback - good and bad.....
Many thanks
JC

I had the yoko geolanders on my old navara - good tyre.
I fitted them when I replaced some nearly new hankook AT tyres which were the most dangerous tyre I've had, they were absolutely lethal in the wet.
I have pirelli AT+ on my discovery 19's. They were my winter set last year but I've used them all summer too I like them that much.

i have duratracs on my d4 only in 20 inch and although there new ish im going to change for a set of road tyres as the duratracs produce a slight humming noise at motorway speed . its funny i have only recently bought the car and one of the things that attracted me to it was the nice new off road tyres i have realized i would rather have a quiet ride as i dont do much off road

Run a set of Duratracs in 255/55/19 on my Range Rover Sport in all conditions from Green Laning, Pyrenees trips to deep mud in Salisbury plain and in snow in the Alps. Fantastic tyre in the 35K miles and i would of had them again, but went to a set of 18” Compomotives and sadly not available in that size so went to BF KO2 instead 2003 BMW M5- 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
