My New Toy...
Purchased a 2005 Discovery V6 SE the other day. Optioned with Xenon lights, rear aircon, a nudge bar, GME UHF, and then i chucked on a set of lightforce 240 blitz's off my Patrol. It's got just over 90,000 kms but is abosolutely mint inside which i soon managed to change as i took it on the beach the second day i had it
All I can say is AWESOME!
Have included a few pics so if your in Perth and see me driving past give us a wave or call up on CH 14.
Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum Josh_WA.
Your outfit looks good and already you are appreciating its value. (Just bought it and have already done some off road work!)
If it is anything like the majority of D3s roaming around here (in fact all over Australia) then many more pleasure filled driving hours are to be experienced.
Mine is a bit younger than yours but still a delight to drive at any time, anywhere.LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

Black interior and white beach sand does not go well together...... especially with all the armour all that the dealers rub on EVERY SINGLE INSIDE SURFACE before they sell u the car.
That was easy fixed with a few hours on the vaccum and a trip down to the dealer to get some rubber floor matts all round and a rubber boot liner for the rear.
I am looking foward to getting out there off road again now that i realised you have to turn the DSC off in order to have any fun on the sand

Welcome Josh
Looks good but my first thought was the aerial might be a bit off putting, especially the one in picture 2

Yeah its a bit close to the middle i suppise but you hardly notice it. It's not as offputting as the 2 x 10 foot fibreglass whips that used to live on the front of my patrol and it dosent get raped by tree branches when off road like if it was right on the side.

Hi Josh - Love the car - was staying in Fremantle this time last year.
First noticed how cool the D3 looks in white....saw loads of them (fully kitted out) on the way to Albany.

comes in hand to chat to your mates if you drive past them while out and about also
