new thingy

just had a 165k service from LR dealer ( first time at LR since going "independent" but i had no choice at the time)

they have fitted a new "thing" in the engine bay.... looking from the front its back left hand side made of black piping and sort of..


LLL--LL shaped!.....


Whats that all about then?

Certainly sounds like that's what it is. Didn't they tell you that they carried out the recall work?

Yep sounds like it.

Back left as you stand in front of your D3.

Brake Vacuuam oil migration recall work. You may have had a new brake master cylinder too - like I did. Thumbs Up

Just make sure you didnt pay for it!!!

they did say i needed a brake fluid change and stiffed me £90.......and no mention of any recall work
 i'm lovin it....

You've been stiffed mate.

Call them back and demand a refund robbing b****ds.

I had to pay for the brake fluid as well......... Whistle
I objected but stealer insisted it wasn't covered under the recall work. Didn't bother to much though since I was quiet happy with the new free parts.
