New tent
Just got back yesterday from 4 days on a campsite ,Home farm camping, in Radnage near Stokenchurch,
we used it as a base to do the 3 theme parks,
did legoland on Saturday, Thorpe park on Sunday and Chessington on Monday.
Wasnt all that impressed with Chessington it was heaving and mad, other two were brill.
One of the reasons we went was to try out the New Tent swmbo persuaded us to get,
Getting rid of Tintent after this summers holiday as its not big enough for weekends without the full awning and annexe so we have been restricted,
never thought i would enjoy a tent but i must say so far its been ok,even after the First small test which was 2 nights in the wind and torrential rain at callow top and having to dry it out at home before packing away
Still want another Tin Tent tho

Yep that's right
It's a Hi Gear kalahari 10. New model
Well as for me never being a tenter other than tin I think it's excellent
Just went away with swmbo and 5 kids ( 11 year old, two 9 year olds and two 5 year olds)and we had loads of room
We just got to get the footprint, was out of stock when we bought it but did get carpet and 2 porches for it
For the bedrooms I had a massive piece of breThable groundsheet brand new for the caravan but never used, so I cut this for them and it's a very good alternative

We have a Vango Vista 800 (amongst many others), similar style, awesome piece of kit, coped well with a biblical weekend downpour in Yorkshire a while back.
Somerset camping a good place to look for some good bargains if anyone's looking.
Also worth getting one of these, fits most tents & keeps the kids mealtimes out of the tent

We bought 2 porches with ours one for cooking and the other for storage and eating
Also got a pop up gazebo that folds to virtually nothing for its size and takes about 5 mins to erect
So pretty well covered in that area
That awning does look good tho 05 TDV6,"S" in all colourcoded Zermatt silver,7 seats winter pack HK 6cd stereo,Dual climate,Xenons,

From laying the footprint to unzipping g the door to go in it takes us about 25-30 mins
And we are novice campers and only put it up twice,
As for the gazebo we got it from go outdoors and it's one of them lazy tongue style that lowers on its legs then just folds, if that's the word in together all fits in a bag about the size of a travel cot bag if you've seen one of them
It's similar to this pic but am sure ours IS waterproof unlike the review on this one
