Very sorry but I have a slight rise in price on Wintrac 4 Xtreme in 255/55x19 as follows;
£131.60 inc VAT collected each or £149.22 fitted inc VAT each.
This is still a great price for a fantastic winter tyre.

Andy,
I have a collegue who has a Range Rover Sport HSE with the standard 20 inch wheels. He's been qouted 2500 Euro for winter tires from ze Germans. I'm popping over the week after next to pick up my new Disco 4 and may be able to help him out. Would you do a deal for a full set of 20's and a set of 19's for me ?
How much are your 20inch variants on there own?
Thanks
Ian.

Do you have price for 235/70 x 17 Wintrac 4, and do you think they have any disadvantages as all year tyre compared to standard Conti's. (BTW, I've actually found Cont's OK in snow)

And just to clarify, I thought Wintrac Extreme 4 was an all season, not a winter tyre.

Ok... silly question time now.. no laughing!
I am currently running my D3 on Scorpions and have always found them pretty C*$p in the snow.
Two of them are due for a change - can I swap the two on the front out for some Wintrac 4 Xtreme and run them OK with scorpions on the rear wheels until they are ready for change... or is it best to swap out all four together?

Andy, interested to know what you thought of the Autoexpress article today saying that insurers are likely to raise premiums if non-manufacturer approved winter tyres are fitted. Seems mad to me. Come across this before?

In my honest opinion, total
Just think about it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Proper winter tyres in winter conditions, Summer tyres in winter conditions
If the load rating is right and speed rating close to makers requirements, no insurance company can wriggle.
If you are concerned contact your insurer, which some will do.
So if I fit, say Kumho tyres, which is not a standard fit tyre to my D3/4 or whatever, my insurance company are going to raise my premium, I don't think so.
By the way Wintrac's are 111V, so no problem there.
Andy.

Hi Andy
Managed to try out my Wintrac Extremes today with a journey from Coventry to York - these tyres are amazing (!) with levels of grip I didn't think were possible in snow and ice
Thoroughly recommend them to anybody thinking of fitting winter tyres
Many thanks to Big Dave for his help with collection / delivery
