Why is it that when I click "new posts" there can be lots of post, then a few seconds later it comes back and says "no posts" even though Ive just updated a post

should post not stay visable for "n" minutes after the last update ? Duncan

New posts should stay 'new' until you've read them or log out.

As Si says - it'll be a cookie error which is causing new posts to vanish. It's a known bug with the forum software package which hasn't been fixed, and probably won't be
