new ecu map file after service renders remap unusable

I use an alientech powergate to download and upload map files to the ECU. Before service I restore the original and download again after the service. Has worked 2 years without problems until recently.

I notice from md5 checksums that the garage has intstalled a new map on the ECU which the alientech gadget downloads OK. Now however the gadget wont allow me to load remaps claiming that they are no longer compatible.

I guess I need a new remap file.

The BAS and eVolve interfaces and some others are all based on the same alientech hardware/software so might suffer from the same problem.

no problems with my interfaces, ive done many updates in the last few weeks because of dealer updates. All you need is a new file for it from your supplier.

What firmware is on your interface ?

Not sure if this would help but. I am using BAS remap after a software upgrade, LR,s cure for faultcode produced by blocked intercooler I think, I could no load remap, Pete sorted it asap on Friday evening. You may want to get a remap from Bells autos or Blackbox solution

Thanks everyone for your help. fixed by supplier tuning to the new "original" file and emailing a new remap.

@pete, i was using version 3.7.3, also tried some older versions, didnt make a difference.
When will you be ready with a remap + egr solution for us 2007 onward d3's Mr. Green
will it be your interface or a bbs combined solution ?
