New Disco TV Ad
Has anyone come across a new TV ad for the Disco? I saw it by pure chance yesterday night on Sky One. It features a Disco driving alongside an eskimo on a sled being dragged by his huskies with a husky snoozing on the back seat of the Disco. Quite funny. Trying to find it on the net but drawing a blank so far.WinchMan

Yes, I saw it last night on Channel 5. I am tying to remember the tag line, which doesn't bode well. Althought saying that I have only seen the ad once. I think it said something like "smoothest riding 4 x 4" or somehting to that effect. Interesting positioning as I would have thought it would be more about capability than comfort. I suppose that tells you who they are targetting.
I must admit, I immediatly was hopeing they might show which tyres the D3 had on to wade through all that snow!!!!!!!!!! 2017 Disco5 First Edition(On Order)

Yep - most any UK TV commercial you can think of over the last few years is available from this site...Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

2006010224_medium.mov is the file name for the ad I downloaded
Funny that considering I'm on a Linux box at the mo.
Or maybe it's because the links were .wmv? The End

Fantastic links there!
I also very much like the part where the Disco is traveling up from behind the eskimo. It looks huge and fierce.
I think they could have promoted it further than being simply smooth, but still it's a good ad.

Wow didn't know I'd stir up such a hornets nest over video formats etc.
The only reason I stuck the 3 WMV's on my site was that I wasn't sure whether www.davidreviews.com still needed a registration to get to.
Either way, all still fantastic videos and as soon as I get the finance sorted, my Disco 3 will be ordered and the C8 (pictured) will be gone!Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
