New defender wheels

Hi All

These look to be on but not sure about the offset. Would these work with a disco 3?

Hi, I've seen a few people have fitted the steel wheels so I'd assume the alloys would fit too.

You would also need to check the load rating as I'm sure the Disco will be a heavier beast than the new Defender.

Have these on my D3. Load rating is fine as you can spec these on the new 130, which supports a higher gross weight than the Disco. Kerb weight averages 30kg more per corner on the D3 (don't know the exact per axle split) but the tyres specced on the 130 have a higher load index than those on a stock D3, so the rims must be able to match that specification.

I will reach out to LR and see if they’ll provide the spec but like I said, sold fitted to a new 130 with a 3380kg gross weight limit so should be absolutely fine

I have a set being dropped off to me by a friend later today, the only difference is the tyre size (265/65/19 as opposed to 255/55/19 fitted as standard gives about 8.7% increase in diameter to 32.6 from 30 inches - must remember to change this with the IID) although it still fits fine with no rubbing, works out cheaper than buying a new set of tyres for my 18's !

I have 255/65 which fit fine. Looking at swapping to the 255/65 Wranglers as I think a more agressive tread in 265/65 will start to rub as the clearance is already small.

The additional 14mm or so offset from the Defender wheels really helps avoid rubbing so maybe with a 0.5"-1" lift via GAP Tool you could comfortably fit 265/65 MTs.

Response on load rating
So the answer I got is that the wheels are rated to the vehicle weight they are optioned for and don't have a published load rating. Looking at the stock tyre load index for a 110 or 130, we have 114 XL with aftermarket tyres recommended to be 116. Minimum recommended for a Disco 3 is 111, so that data combined with the higher published gross max weight of the 130 on these rims makes me confident they are safe to use.

Currently sitting in access mode whilst I replace the front end, can't wait to finally roll it out of the garage, fit some ATs and raise the suspension back up to see how it really looks Very Happy

Load rating is generally printed (embossed) on the rear of LR wheels.

On this style apparently it's not - or I'm going blind. Can't find a single number that references load index or rating. The rims I pulled off do have it but nothing on the new ones. I would have thought it would be legally required?

Clearer photos of 19” wheels from OP. This is factory off-road height. 32.1” tyres.
