Do you miss it? As one of the first owners I still associate you with it. Your signature so to speak. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Yes and no.
The Discovery will always be my favoured LR, I do miss some of the additional storage, the command driving position, but the Velar is the best of both. I’ve got the all weather ability, which the Velar has been faultless through this weather, and the more sporting drive.
I wouldn’t mind a D3 to sit along side the Velar, look of the D3 does it for me over the 4 and 5.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

It’s good you’ve got sorted to your satisfaction. A D3 would be a nice project. I loved mine which is why I kept it 8 years. The D4 has been trouble free (touch wood) and I think I will just keep it. At my age it could be my last car anyway. The only thing I have seen that I liked was the RS2. Nice one in my local stealers.2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. These have been around for a few months and reported on here several times before, but I’ve yet to see one on the road.
It fixes the single worst aspect of the ‘5 but, for many, the whole design is way beyond fixing by tinkering Meanwhile, ‘5 owners seem to wear the offset plate as a badge of honour - in a great anti-style statement!
On that basis, I’m not sure who’s going to buy one, but I’ll keep looking out.2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

...enough that if I do get a D5 Commercial in the next 12 months I may well be posting pictures of this mod on a real car LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
