New D4 owner - questions on laptop wizardry.
Hi,
Bought a 64 plate HSE a couple of weeks ago and have just bought a remote FBH from Bodsy.
Being next to useless with a laptop I will need to get this enabled so will need to hire one of the forums laptop engineers. This has got me thinking about other wizardry I could get done at the same time.
Having scoured the forum so far thought of:
Alarm to route to the horn
Sat Nav on the move
Any other recommendations would be most appreciated.

Surely you already have sat nav on the move if it is a UK spec D4 Cheers Ian

To be honest don't know - only driven it twice. Last D3 HSE didn't....
Saw it in someone's signature so eagerly went oooooh will have that...

Had anyone got alarm to the horn working? Doesn't on mine but might be a MY issue.

Having scanned the forum, Ive seen the following laptop upgrades which interest me, but being new to the D4 and still only driven it twice, I don't know if they are all applicable to mine... please excuse my ignorance
Deadlock First stage
Seat Belt reminder
chirping alarm - is this still possible to do if I get the route to horn mod done?
4x4 info - not sure if I have this already
Daytime running lights - sorry but not sure if ive got this either on my facelift
Anything else I should consider?

Killing the seat belt reminder (or switching it back on) I think is in the manual. It involves clicking and unclicking a load of times in a certain time span.

No laptop needed for seat belt chimes and drl running lights.
Turm ign on put drivers seatbelt in and out clip 9 times.
DRL's can be activated and de activated details in handbook, it s abit of a faff

Found out Ive got the DRLs and the 4x4 info already
