My New (to me) D3, tarted up!
Hello all,
Picked up my D3 a week ago and sent it off to the spa.
Am quite pleased with the results. Reupholstered leather seats. New grille and side vent from Hawke (excellent service and products by the way!). Mirror covers and handle covers (easy stick on). And new rubber mats.
Had the rims sprayed gloss black. And added the Bearmach side steps.
What else to do? Any suggestions? 8)

Looks smart. How about de-tango headlights, and some clear indicators?

ClassikFan, Thankyou sir, Standard rear lights and applied some tinting film to them, found some on Ebay, there are two types, matt look and gloss which I used, I liked the rear lights of the D3 but I just found them to bright, so i just wanted to dull them a little bit, did not want the really black look, just subtle, also what you might not see is I also did the rear reflectors in the bumper as well, same stuff as the rear lights.
Comparison shot. You can see the difference it makes. It also allows plenty of light through.

plocker Can't tell you TBH, done this 4 years ago and Ebay can't go back that far, try these though, I do remember getting it from HK or China.
The main thing I do remember is getting the right size as the D3 lights are big, so you might need 2 rolls and try to see if its shiny or matt, I did buy some other stuff but it was matt and i did not like it, think I still have it thinking about it.
But look around there is loads on there.
