Dave, congrats on your purchase, we've got the Elddis Crusader Tempest, lovely tintents
We've looked at movers and have found the same as you although, we haven't really needed to have them yet. So we're holding off getting them

Good news on the new caravan.
We're still shopping round at the minute for our first caravan. Looking at the Bailey Barcelona as a possibility but was going to wait till sept to see if any changes to the Baileys.
Have fun touring.Ian

Got a Barcelona and love it had it 15 months and no real issues.
As for movers, friend has got a Swift twin axle also 15 months old, had a mover on it which was veru low. Recently ripped mover off whilst going down country lane, bent chassis and great deal of damage, several thousand pounds worth of damage very nearly wrote van off. Steer clear of movers on twin axles MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I have an Elddis Crusader Sirocco fitted with a 4wd Powrtouch mover. The drive units do sit low, but I have never had a problem, even on some fierce road humps we have around here. It does make moving the van around so much easier, and can spin it on the spot - although doing that is hard on the tyres.

We've been looking at getting an alko mammut mover for when we get our Barcelona.
They only fit alko chassis so Elddis is no good. But they fit into the chassis on the alko ones and does not come any lower than the chassis rails.Ian

My van is only a single axle and has a powrtouch motor mover fitted.
I wouldn't be without it. It allows me to get the caravan up the drive in reverse, through the narrow gate opening, on my own without any help from the missus - therefore avoiding arguments.
Although it sits quite low I have not had any problems with it catching anything (up to now!)
Once you've had one you won't do without.
