On other vehicles they have been great when new, but you need to clean and re-oil them regulary and I was never that convinced I was getting them really clean, personally regularly changing the paper filter seems to be a better and cheaper option.....

I found mine a bit quicker on the pick up and at the top end.

Also you never need another air filter again.
