Need new tyres for a discovery 2 was looking at general grabbers GT but have also been wondering about the at3. Will be mainly for road use but want something that won’t let me down on snowy roads or getting the tin tent on and off pitches I am running 255 55 r18 any advice greatly received

GG AT3... something different.
Have had the AT's on my D2 and they good in the snow.
Now have AT3's on the D4, and again I can't fault them. Just remember that tyres have limits..
Both have good wear characteristics.2011 MY D4 HSE

I’d have thought so, but they’re for a D2 and I don’t know the tyre sizes for those.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I have had AT2 and AT on my D2, and they have been GREAT. Lasted ages, and have been pretty good on snow.
Not as good as a TRUE winter tire, but really pretty good.

You might be better off asking someone of the Disco 2 forums as whilst lots of folk have Disco 2's on here this is a Disco 3 & 4 forum "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.
