Need some M10 x 1.5 x 40 bolts!

Arrrrgh! Finally got the car up on stands to mount the rear diff guard at the weekend and found that ASFIR had shipped it with the wrong bolts (M12 instead of M10). Unfortunately these have to pass through a threaded spacer, so using the wrong bolts isn't really an option.

TBR UK have asked ASFIR to ship the right ones, but it is likely to take a couple of weeks to come through (and there's no guarantee the boys at ASFIR will get it right second time around). In the meantime I've gone loopy trying to source some bolts of the right spec locally, but nobody carries a fully-threaded M10 with a 1.5 pitch.

Anyone out there able to help me get my hands on 4 bolts? Beer is on offer. Wink

What about some threaded rod, and cut it to the length you need?

If only I could access ebay from here..... Big Cry

No web access at home from 5 weeks now (can't even get dial up due to a line fault) and the world's most anal firewall at the office. Ho-hum, ebay surfing on my mobile phone, here I come. Rolling Eyes BT WILL be made to pay, mark my words!!!

I'd prefer to go with bolts as per spec rather than threaded rod if I can help it.

This is a very common bolt size, try B&Q, Plant hire company's let your fingers do the walking Wink

PS Make sure they are High Tensile and have HT or 8.8 on the head. Ask the guy that supplied your mower. Thumbs Up

Allfix weren't able to help when I popped in there on Tuesday. I was in SCATS at Winterborne Tuesday too, didn't think to check with them Rolling Eyes Sheep . Mower place no good (had to ring them today as the Husqy has a fault with the clutch and Husqvarna are being a pain in the 'arris) as they stock everything by product-specific part number Rolling Eyes

It's the pitch (1.5) that was causing everyone I spoke to a problem. Have since followed up the ebay link from Slimer on the heap of excrement Nokia describe as the N95 and have secured a pack of them for a fiver. Or at least I will have once I get Paypal to work on the mobile.

Thanks one and all!

The web-paranoia at this place is a right chuckle. If they concentrated on the stuff that matters instead of making internet use some kind of thought-crime I reckon they could shave another 10% from their premiums.
