Mark,
Did you order through the site, in German?. I can’t understand a word! . Have been using Google to translate the text, but to order in German will be more difficult ...
Could you send some pictures?
205kph !!! careful you don’t burn the GPS!!

There is a extra button that i placed behind the handbrake it has 3 positions
1 = normal - 25mm
middle = off
2 = normal +28 mm max 100 kmh or offroad + 28 mm
The changes in hight takes about 15 seconds after selection.
position 1 the car feels stiffer but its more stabil you can almost drive it like a sportscar. (by by tyres) it also looks very good one the car.
When i drive with the handling kit off the car drives only 196 kmh.
Tommorow i will take some pictures of the car in different height positions. Also from the extra button.
Ordering by matzker is very simple and easy.

Mark wrote:I installed it myself the handling kit is about 1,5 hours of work. You have to put the handling box under the left side of the dashboard and attach it between the wires of the suspension.
The unlimiter is put behind the battery en between some wires from the ecu. It takes about 2 hours.
The manuels which come with the kits are very good. Read them good!!
When i ordered the kits they were send to me in about a week.
Untill now it works very good. No Faults on the dasch nothing.
Nice pics Mark!!!
The 'ultra low...' is lower than the access mode?
From what I know (have read, haven't got my D3 yet, almost...I hope...), there are 3 main positions:
Normal
Offroad
Low access mode
Then there are 2 more that are not selectable, but the handling kit gives you access:
Hi-Speed intermediate (normally automatically selected when more than 5 secons above 160 Km/h)
Extended mode when you get stuck (a lot of good that will do )
The kit basically gives you control in selecting Hi- Speed intermediate, permits you to maintain Offroad mode ate 100KM/h and to select extended mode before you get stuck...
Does it also give you an extra low access??
In the Matzker site there appears a 'AW 49' and ', does this mean 49€ mounting costs
How much did they charge for shipping?
1 other thing, noticed you have driving lights, 8) do they give a big benefit as the D3 comes with Bi-Xenon lamps already?

Hi,
With AW matzker means:
Zubehör Bestellung
Alle Angaben ohne Gewaehr. Bei Artikeln die den Zusatz Werkstatt tragen ist ein Versand nicht möglich, da diese Produkte ausschliesslich in unserer Fachwerkstatt montiert werden können. Die Kosten hierfür liegen pro angegebene AW bei 8,12 EUR und beziehen sich auf serienmässige KFZ in gutem Allgemeinzustand.
So for the installing the handling kit they charge 49x 8,12 eur. without tax.
Extra low access mode is not recommended by Matzker because sometimes this mode gives an error and the car goes in extended mode. Reselect the height clears this error.
It's easy to make this mistake because the kit is usully in Normal - 25 MM
select access mode in this mode the car goes in super low.
The handling kit is mounted between the hightsensors of the car. And it changes the values that the sensors orginally send to the hight controller.
The driving llights don't give a big advantage. It looks nice

mark hello again, thanks vm yr replies.
however hv a couple more
so can u pls advice when u hv the -25mm at normal hight
and the car goes over 160kmts fr more then 5 seconds ??
the car will remain at such hight or will lower further 25 mm
untill the car's speed drops below 130kmts ???
and last one..when u hv offroad hight + the 28mm, what the car
will do if stuck some how ?? will give as normal the extra 35mm(extented mode), or will give the difference frm 28mm to 35mm i.e 7mm
and what if u ''ask'' fr the extra 35mm by pressing the brake and hold
switch fr 5 seconds ???
thks vm in advance 8)

Hi Jacob,
There's nothing written in the manual about your questions.\
I'm almost convinced that the car lowers more above 160 kmh. The car feels much harder at high speeds +160 kmh.
If you want i can send an email to matzker for the right specs.?

Mark and Jacob,
Hope this helps:
The information I obtained was from reading the owner manual provided by this forum in the folowing link:
http://www.landrovertechinfo.com/extfree2viewlrprod/index.jsp
It can also be accessed via this thread:
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic1229.html (click on the link: LR Owner Info )
In the 2006 LHD D3 manual, Driving and Operating Chapter, page 179 of this manual (31st of 55 page chapter), it is explained...
I am going to try and order the Handling kit from them. I have sent them a mail in the begining of August but recieved no reply so they must be closed for holidays now.
Will update when I have news...

hello there...
spoke with mr matzker and asked some questions/clarifications
abt his product. what i found strange was tht he claims the d3
is not lower at all, after the 160kms ????? (lr say at the manual car it lower
by 2 cm after the 160kms and remain there untill car stays at 130 kms
fr more then 30 seconds).
matzker say tht only the rrs does this, and not the d3 ???
is this the case ????
also in a couple of weeks will be at their web side another
electronic device but with some hardware as well, which will increase the
hight by 50 mm (insted of the 26 mm now) also will do some other
''magic'' thinks as well which i could not understand frm the phone.
however understude very very well the price of such product
which is abt 3.150 euro.
can someone of u guys verify, what matzker alleged tht d3 is not lower at 160kms ????
plsd to hear frm u
cheers

Jacob,
I've driven both the Disco3 and the RRS at speeds above the lowering point, if both, or either lower, it is not able to be felt, there is no indication from the message display saying it has lowered either
Both LR engineers and test drivers have confirmed to me that both vehicles are programmed to lower at the indicated speeds, to prevent it doing so would require a fairly major software hack

Hi Mark...
hv noticed on yr photos of different hights, tht on
''offroad + 28mm'' there is a small diff in rear weel hight
(if u compere with photo of offroad hight), but there is almost no
change of the hight at the front weel ???
have u take a mesurment of yr own to verify tht indeed
with matzker gain this 28mm over all(front + rear) ???
plsd to hear as is not very clear on photos
also matzker say tht originly d3 is not lower after 160kms
and this apply only to rrs, hv checked with L/R Greece and the say tht
some models did and some others dont ??? anyhow
what is yr experience after the 160kms with matzker ???
thks/regards
jacob
