It hasn’t come back in 20 miles of driving. No misfire but I’m waiting for the injector to trim in.

Just thought and don’t know if u remember , when I retrofitted some heated windscreen washer jets I bought a complete engine loom
So wondering if I lay the loom out and see if the fuel pressure sensor wiring is there , just in case u can’t get that section on it’s own and if it will be any use to u
Of course will need to identify what section u may need
Just a thought
Fair play buddy ! There’s not too many around like you. I was hunting for an old cavalier wiring loom to see if I could match the cable colours and sizes to splice some in and stumbled across the bits for the dog ramp I was going to make for you. I feel awful I’d forgotten about it.
I suppose having twins in January has pickled my head somewhat.
Unfortunately the euro 3 harness is very different to the euro 4. Dean smithson is on the case. He’s a breaker in Oxford that specialises in discoveries. I’ve sent him a list of bits, mostly trivial stuff. The pins that hold the engine cover on, noise reducers for the injectors etc to go with the harness. Fingers crossed he’s got a good one bit I’ll be testing it thoroughly before fitting. I believe I’m looking at body off number 3 now
Hi mate
Don’t be daft, ur twins come first , bless u for the kind compliment , like many here also try and help the best I can, as ive always believed what goes around comes around
No worries and great u have a proposed loom on the way , it was just indeed a thought to run new wires to and from the ECM
Plse let us know how things go

Gary have you been taking bits of the car again?
Or have you been teaching Candy new tricks.
Hiya
Funny enough it was cheaper buyimg a complete second hand loom for the heated windscreen washer jets than buying individually

Arghhhh this car !!!!
Drove about quite a bit lately with no problem. Still a bit chuggy on idle when cold but great when it’s warmed up.
Drove to Carmarthen last night, as I pulled up on my in laws drive... yep every bong known to man.

Did you get the engine loom issue resolved Jarrod? Just noticed the PCM didn't pop up in your last test!
Edit:
The last one, U0401-68 is the likely culprit which caused the meltdown. Might be just a glitch with the plugs behind the battery. By the way, have you got a genuine fuel filter on there?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Not as such because the breaker didn’t have a euro 4 one. Gentlemen of salvage don’t either so I’m still looking for one. I checked through as much as possible but have only done some minor repairs.
I’m relation to the fuel filter, yes it’s a genuine one. I’m going to replace it with a new one anyway. Genuine again.
Just out of curiosity I’ve noticed my sunroof leaking again. Thought I’d cleared it but I noticed the headlining at the top of the pillar trim wet on the passenger side. These big hissy fits seem to be when the weather is bad.... anything around the footwell or sill areas that could play up ?Jarrod

Usually the wiring splice on the sill plays havoc with the central locking, but I can't think of anything else related unless the BCM got wet?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

When I was due to drive home we had a thunderstorm. I duck taped the sunroof up before hand and no water came in. The car drove home in the dry almost faultlessly. I did feel an odd miss coming up the neath bank but other wise ok. I drove it gently, drove it hard but no limp and no hissy fit. Bizarre.Jarrod

Strange indeed, moisture ingress somewhere might just have something to do with it. This dry spell might tell a lot?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
