The mystery noise captured on tape

So as some may know I have been chasing a driveline problem. Noise is under load and I forget but I think it still does this coasting.

I hear a distinct popping or cracking noise, like a cable slapping or being slapped by something. However, I have looked underneath the truck for hours, and have found nothing. Took brakes apart, replacing rear calipers in their mess as well. Previously replaced drive shafts F and R with New center bearing. The problem came to notice just after that repair.
I replaced the Transfer case cause I just knew it was that,...nope still noisy.

Hope the link works:

Might have to cut and paste this into your browser. It's a Google Drive Folder

Any help would be much appreciated.

If it a video can you not just upload it to YouTube and post the link here?

OK I'm a You Tuber now, well...

OK first go at this...be kind.

The noise in question as long as this upload goes well, is a heavy tapping noise coming from under the midsection of the car. I have had persons outside telling me where the noise comes from so it is their opinion I share. It could be anything dealing with the power train, although the following have been recently replaced, or replaced while I had the vehicle.

Right Rear Brake caliper changed, noise not affected. I did notice the state my lines are in so ordered a full car set of the flexible brake hoses to be installed DIY, by myself soon. Also, install a new left rear caliper.
Brakes pads all way round
driveshaft, front and back replaced with center bearing
All 4 air struts replaced
Compressor replaced
Transfer Case replaced with good verified used part, the noise never changed, so I would say not the transfer case.
Tires, replaced
Johnson Rods before larger tires

Replaced front CV Axles approx. 15K ago
I have received my new Rear CV Axles, last weekend, but SWMBO's list was the primary cause that weekend. Not sure when I will get to these, have not found a decent write-up yet.

Anyway here is the noise:

It kind of sounds like it is coming from "behind" the camera. Which would make me think it's the axles/brake/wheel. I assume you have jacked it up and spun the wheel slowly by hand to see if you can hear it? Although from the video it doesn't appear to start until you are moving. Which makes me think it is the axle, as it articulates the noise starts. Maybe??

Replacing a rear axle shaft can turn into a big job but is easy if everything goes right. You only need to disconnect the stabilizer bar link, and the bottom bolt on the knuckle (one attached to the track bar), and pop the parking brake cable from the retainer on the arm. Then you can push the axle out of the hub and swing it out of the way. If you get lucky the axle will come out of the hub no problem. If not, you'll have to use a puller and hammer on it to break it free from the hub. Which means you've probably damaged the wheel bearing. If that happens you'll need to remove the knuckle completely so you can install a new bearing. I pulled both rear knuckles on mine and replaced the backing plates and bearings. It was a rusted mess. The parking brake cables were stuck in the backing plates. The other problem you might run into is removing the shaft from the diff. Can be hard to remove. I didn't need to remove mine so I left them in place.

Here's a video I made when I did mine, it's not a how to just goes over some of the problems I ran into, if your LR3 isn't as rusty as mine you will probably have better luck

I assume you have the pdf shop manual? I'd attach the section on removing the rear axle shafts but I can't attach pdfs... Search for it and you should be able to find a link to download it. If you can't find it I can send it to you.

Thanks

Hey, thanks for the video and write-up.

Getting ready to go ahead a buy a press so I can do my wheel bearings if those are the problem. Sounds silly to buy a press for two bearings? well if you buy the hub and the wheel bearing new, you can buy a small press for other things that you might need it for.
It's like 19 degrees out now, so since I don't have to have the vehicle on the road, then I will wait for better weather. We don't get much cold so in a week or two I will be under it ripping it all out.
