Hi all. Loving my MY2012 HSE.
I have a couple of questions on the Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) on the car and wondered if there were any other 2012 owners who might help?
Firstly, the car came without the remote control. Apparently this has happened a few times with 2012 cars (Discovery and Range Rover Sport). Pretty annoying, as the controls from the front screen are very "high level" and the remote can do a lot more. The dealer said that LR have to hide them in the car for delivery as they keep going missing. I suspect that the person responsible for that part of the production line just forgot!
Secondly, has anyone managed to get the car to play MP4 files on the RSE screens? Without the remote it seems impossible to actually find and play the files off the USB drive, but if anyone has a remote and has got this working, I'd love to hear of their experience.
Other than that, I am really happy with the car. Everything I was expecting from the MY2012 and a load more. Much better than the Audi allroad it replaced.

Hi Sam,
I had the same problem in that the remote wasn't with the car. No problem, the dealer got one delivered the next day and offered to get it sent on to me. I agree the remote gives far more scope than controlling if from the front screen.

The dealer has ordered a "replacement" remote.
Have you managed to play any USB media (such as MP4s?) Not sure I really want the children to be in control of that!
