I wouldn't think of using a main dealer for Front Discs & Pads, or Rear Discs & Pads.
I would go to a good Indy, and get them to check whether they are yet required - they may not be in my experience. If they are I would use the Indy to fit, and but the parts from site sponsor Advanced Factors.
Major service sounds expensive, but some people like having main dealer stamps in the book. If this includes you I would shop around, and ask for a better price.
I would recommend changing oil & oil filter between services, if you are going to keep the car. Don't compromise - use a LR filter.

Did some shopping around, went back to the dealer and ended up with a near £300 discount, which pays for two of the four General Grabber ATs I recently fitted!!!
Never been one for tinkering with cars myself but if it's an easy job, I may well consider the oil change.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! I did my own using our good friend TLO for my parts...
Full set for front and rear (discs & pads) were less than you were quoted for fronts !!
That was a while ago, so would be worth checking current prices with him..
So, my advice would be, buy your own genuine parts and find a local indi who would fit them unless you fancy getting your hands dirty
Read the Bodsy bible if you want to gen up on what is involvedCheers Ian

Three local dealers were all much of a muchness on price and a local indy suggested that, as the car was still within warranty, that I would better off sticking to main dealer.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! May be persuaded to do a little more DIY once the warranty runs out in April, but have never really touched cars in the past, don't have any really good tools for the job either.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets!
