Sorry... no idea. I think he said he applied voltage to something to trigger it... no idea what though. If its a new purchase they should sort it. Let them do it.

Take a video using your iPhone and show them.
Open the bonnet and move into the area the sound seems to be emanating from.
If nothing else it will prove you have the issue. Hopefully it will narrow down their search area for the source.
