MY10 D4 sluggish and poor MPG. IID advice

My early MY10 D4 without DPF, 96k miles, has become sluggish performance wise and MPG has dropped big time - lucky to get 300miles to a tank full, previously averaged 375.

Got no warnings or errors on dash. Haven't yet had chance to connect the IID but I'm wondering are EGRs or Turbo potential suspects.

Can the IID test EGR and Turbo live values and if so what do I compare them to?

TIA Thumbs Up

Sounds daft but have you tried changing your air filter and also do you use additives in the fuel? I usually pud diesex in the fuel every month depending on the milage I do and turbo flush every six month and that has helped me with my mpg just a thought

IID plugged in and taken for a test drive this morning. Looks like the EGRs are sticking open a little, both consistently reporting 3-4% more open than being commanded to - so still open when they should be shut tight.

Would be interesting to compare those values to those on a 'known good' vehicle. Mine has always reported 3-4% open when commanded 0. I don't have any of the other symptoms you describe.

Ok finally got round to a test drive in SWMBOs MY16 with the IID connected and that too has a 4% discrepancy between commanded and actual - so that suggests they are working properly in my MY10. Censored back to square one Big Cry

Presumably no other fault codes of note?

No fault codes, hence the head scratching.

Did you get any further with identifying the issue?
