Hi
Just understanding the D4 a little whilst I am on the hunt. Can someone enlighten me and let me know what the difference is between and 09, 59 or a 10 plate.
In particular BHP and standard equipment for a HSE. Discovery 4 HSE Lux - Second time around

For starters, there are no 09 D4's except for pre-production models. Anything with a 59 or 10 plate is the 2010 model year, so there are no differences between these, just standard first D4 specs.
HSE is the top of the range with full leather, panoramic sunroof, tope end hifi, navigation, etc... Virtually everything. 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I have noticed some adverts saying "higher output engine" is this misleading? Discovery 4 HSE Lux - Second time around

The 2010 HSE had the 3.0 litre 210bhp TDV6 engine.
Some GS models, and the Commercial variants of the 2010 MY had the older 2.7 TDV6 190 bhp engine with manual gearbox (like mine). 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

It was actually the 8th August - however most people waited for the new plate.

There are a number of 59 plate D3's registered If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

My march 2010 has got the 245 bhp - I think all the higher specs had it before they standardised

Ok its a press car HSE with every option registered in July 09 but warranty is until the end of August 12 Club Forum Criminal !!!
