Multiple System Failures

Hi Guys,

Having worked my way up throught the ranks of Land Rover products, I finally collected the keys to my new Disco 3 just under two weeks ago and I am delighted with it. Very Happy

BUT, on three occasions now I have suffered multiple failures at one time. Big Cry

To explain, when slowing down without braking, to say come into a town, I suffer 'transmission failure' with only 'limited gears available' then 'air suspension failure' and the car lowers itself, then I have 'HDC' failure followed by 'Parking brake failure'.

At this point I usually stop, switch the engine off and restart it and everything is fine.

The dealer has plugged the car into their computer but it is not showing any faults logged.

Anybody else had the same problems?? Confused

Cheers

sorry can't help, but have you confidence in your dealer, as they can be poles apart in knowing about faults Sad

I'm sure some one will know Thumbs Up

Sounds like a sensor issue ...I have seen similar symptoms on another 2008MY. I recall it was fairly easily rectified by the dealer Wink

Dave,

I have every faith in the dealer as I have used them for many years.

After the first time it happened I popped in to see if they knew about the problem and they plugged the car in then and it showed nothing. They said if it happened again to book it in and they would have better look.

It was fine for a few days but then did it again. I'll make arrangements to get the car booked in and see if they can find anything.

Can I propose that davesimmons is limited to one posting per week Thumbs Up

The appearance of his avatar always causes me to lose concentration Embarassed and it takes at least an hour for me to get fully back on track.
What if the "Hokey Cokey" really is what it's all about?

Slimer,

They thought that too and checked out the battery power and connections. All okay.
