mudguards
Are there any decent looking mudguards available for the fronts? Where I live its impossible to get to and from my house without collecting half the contents of the drive on my side steps. I don't like mudguards but am feeling a little peed off to say the least with the mess the car is always in, and also the state of my trousers/boots if I forget to jump out of the car to avoid the collected muck not had much luck doing a quick google search. Thanks in anticipation Photo added after just

Ditch the sidesteps! They will rot away before you know it anyway.
Standard LR mudflap offerings are more cosmetic than functional, although they do stop some splashback. Unless you are a brand snob, order the chinese ones from Ebay, very good copies that fit straight on for less than 1/3 the LR price.
Looking at your photo, I reckon the big fat tyres do not help. Serious off roaders have cut and shut Defender ones for better protection, although in my opinion their looks are questionable. Plenty photos on here. Not such a Disco Newbie now!

Are mudguards the same as mudflaps?
If so, front CAS500010PCL and rear CAT500010PCL is probably what you want. They’re available both as LR and a few aftermarket (bearmach? Allmakes?) versions. I’ve got the Land Rover originals.... I think.
Available from site sponsors and the other usual suspects.
I’ll see if I have a decent picture of them somewhere. (Edit: added picture)
