Hi guys,
Wondering if you can all shed some light on expectations of value.
I am going to be parting ways with my D3 for something more economical and easier to work on for myself.
I have a 2007 GS Spec D3 Manual.
205,000 miles
Zambezi Silver
It’s a brilliant runner,just 2 owners, but is due a few things. Belts are due soon. I have pulled the handbrake fuse as I had an initial handbrake squeal, albeit a small squeal. I pulled the Fuse to be on the safe side to protect the handbrake module. ( I do have all the parts to do the discs/pads/shoes and fittings, but I haven’t had time. Also, the crossover pipe has started blowing slightly.
I have given the idea of breaking it, but again, time isn’t on my side right now. So can you guys give any idea what it’s worth as a running project?

I thought around the 2.5k.
I do have £400 of parts to do the handbrake- inc new dust shields/upper hub bushes etc. So the whole lot.
I was thinking of returning the parts to AF and then taking less than 2.5k for the car.
It’s a shame as I love the D3, the mileage isn’t even a concern for me - it just feels like I’d need to put aside a good chunk of annual leave to get ontop of the car.
The handbrake isn’t too much of an issue - I have as the parts.
But I was considering taking the engine out to do the crossover pipe and belts as a one hit. But I just can’t see me having the time to tackle it  Defender 110 2.4 TDCi Utility Station Wagon.
