I have an electric rotary sander lol I use G3 on a white waffle pad for my 1st pass and 2nd if needed then gradually change compounds and pads until I'm at the polish stage. Bit of sealing wax and its done.
Rain stopped play and its just to damp to do this out side so its not my best effort but will do for now.
Started off with x2 snow foam cleans with a clay bar in between.

Looks good I have a few scratches on mine that I need to get round to buffing out at some point. At the moment the weather hides them pretty well.

Found the cause of the suspension fault, after fitting a new piston seal and refitting the pump air is escaping from the back plate valves. New back plate ordered along with new mounting bolt kit.
John also replaced the rear belt today as rain stopped play over the weekend just as well as it was the original belt and tensioner

Well the new back plate kit arrived swopped it over only to find the exhaust valve totally knacked when I went to undo it the thread stripped so pumps scrap, new pump fitted and everything working.
So I have a fully working D3 with new oil pump, can belt and tensioner kit and pump have I jinxed myself?????
