How much for a 60k service

just tipped over the 60k mark and need to get the D3 serviced. Im going to do the brake pads myself as they are running out, but trying to get an idea of prices for a 60k service.

Ive been quoted £350 by MJ Fews

Mine is due for 60 k service too, as far as I can see it is a A service which is a small one Whistle
What is involved with this service Question
Looking back at the invoice for other A services they differ in what they doo.
One strange thing is they said they checked the oil level in the diffs, how would they doo this as there is only a filler hole not a level hole, as I understand it the way is to drain them and fill with the correct volume of oil.
Think they may be feeding a load of cods wollop Shocked

Just thought of something, at the last service they overfilled the engine with oil, up to the yellow round ball not to the arrow, dumb b Censored could they have overfilled the diffs by filling up to the filler holes, hope not.
Anything is possible with the steeler in our parts, f Censored hopeless.

Rob

PS. off to check Shocked

Slimer,
yes you are correct . oh well.

On to the other bit, just had a look at the diff oil levels, my suspesions were correct, the oil is within 2 or 3 mm of the fill plug, does someone know whwre it should be and if it can do harm if overfilled.

yes, sorry Rob

i meant 60,000 miles

re filling, i was told (i think) that its not a case of filling to a line but you need to pour in a set amount.
