MPG with Chips

Might be useful to get some definitive feedback on whether chip tuning a TDV6 really does affect fuel economy. It's a tricky one, as having your vehicle chipped can often mean your driving style changes to suit also.

Can we have another answer button:

Chipped from New Laughing 8)

How would I know if it was better than standard..?? Except that:

I'm getting near 30mpg
it makes me Very Happy all the time
others are getting low 20's
it makes me Very Happy all the time
it beats Range Rover Sports
it makes me Very Happy all the time
it sounds like my V8 did
it makes me Very Happy all the time

AND, did I mention that it makes me Very Happy all the time?

I have a TDV6 HSE remapped by TC after 1400miles.

Like JMC I'm getting near 30mpg most of the time with the worst hooliganism delivering c. 25mpg

it makes me Very Happy all the time
others are getting low 20's
it makes me Very Happy all the time
it beats Range Rover Sports
it makes me Very Happy all the time
it sounds like my V8 did
it makes me Very Happy all the time

so like JMC I'm Very Happy all the time...
