i only put this on here to see if it was about the normal mpg . most of the time its the wifes shopping trolley and is doing about 20 miles a week . i never bought it for econnomy but am just surprised how good it seems . her last disco was a 300tdi auto doing under 20mpg my 2 door range rover 200tdi i can get 28 if i drive gentle .

About 15 l/100 km (~ 15 mpg) driving normally

Whats more important to me is how far i can get on the tank when doing long trips

13mpg pootling around Sheffield and its multiple hills, will touch 25 on a long steady run if i stick to 69. Better than I expected for a near 3 ton leviathan with the aerodynamics of Battersea power station and 4.4v8. That's based on tank brimming rather than the trip. Although to be fair the trip has generally never been much more than 1mpg out. At the last check trip said 20 and tank said 19.23. That was using 99 octane.

If really concerned about fuel consumption you don’t buy a Land Rover but not buying one is just being silly. 3 RR Classics (last one broke off-road) All gone
S3, take off road, break, repair, repeat. Gone
Disco 2, for sale, 12 month MOT, next one looking expensive (r)
