The stereo does not read/play WMA audio files on any 2005 or 2006 Disco 3, Range Rover Sport or Range Rover... at least in North America. Only .MP3 (and, of course, normal Audio CDs.) Are you absolutely sure you have .WMA files stored on a data CD... instead of burning WMA content as a Audio CD?

I did'nt thing it would be just mine.
Tried a CD with a combination of both mp3.'s and wma.'s, and didn't even try to play the wma.'s.
Are the newer sets different or is it the Logic7 system that plays both?

I got myself an mp3 changer from sony, which works with an fm-transmission module, Sony CDX-565MXRF. We managed to open up the changer, to find an appropriate left and right audio signal. As such, we didn't need the fm-module anymore, and were able to use the AUX on the standard (European '05) single slot CD audio system. As this product comes with an external controller of the changer, I can scroll through the mp3-tracks, albums, cd's .. you name it
