New winch arrived today  need to get it fitted into the hidden mount but am wondering if i need to go to the trouble of mounting the solenoids in a waterproof box (as Wiggs did). Will I get away with just fitting the supplied box (not sealed) behind the bumper or will the first time it submerges (on Sunday for example) mean it is wrecked? There doesn't seem to be much to go wrong in the box. 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
