Mounting Thule Roof Bars to T Track.
I'm trying to fit a pair of Thule roof bars to the T Tracks on The D4's roof. I have no instructions.
Along the tracks are multiple cut outs along the inboard edges, each around 1" long and set at 5" intervals; they don't seem to serve a purpose, but I'm concerned that I've missed something important!
Does anyone have a PDF of the fitting instructions, or can anyone tell me if I've missed something here please?
Thanks in advance

I have the Land Rover Bars but presume fitting is the same?
The bars screwed to the roof do indeed have cut outs on the inboard side but on the outboard side there is a long cut out half way along, with the land Rover bars they fit into this cut out and then slide forward and back.
The attached image shows the large cut out on the outboard side

Yep i also can only comment on the LR bars. Make sure you lose the grub screw if there is one like the LR bars. MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0

Thanks for your replies
It does appear the same and I've used exactly that bit to fit the metal plate into the track and the slid the rear mounting backwards (I've only done one bar so far). It would appear that it's fair for me to ignore the multiple inner cut outs then?
They don't appear to have a grub screw though and there doesn't seem to be anything missing.
(I bought these bars used about 18 months ago, without instructions and only find myself needing to fit them for the first time. I'd have quite liked the OEM Land Rover ones, but I really need the full width bars)

Sorry RM, I'm not familiar with the thule system. The LR ones you simply slot in the wider piece and slide then back until you can lift the lever up as it goes through the inch gap in the location required.MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0

Ah, I see!
The Thule one doesn't do that, it's simply a flat metal plate that sits in the channel; the plate is drawn up when a bolt is tightened and it clamps against the roof of the channel.

i have thule bars.
you take the bottom plate with the threaded bar and drop it in the double slot as other have mentioned.
push it forward(or backward) to its approx location and repeat on the other side.
Then you drop the rest of the roof rack foot on top and tighten the bolt to grip everything in place.
