Well another fail , rear upper bushes worn and a bonnet catch issue. One advisory. Dig deep again . I’m at a bit of a crossroads , as thinking of selling our caravan as not using it as much as I should be . It’s still worth a few bob . Was also toying with the idea of chopping in my D4 for something else a bit more economical but not much takes my fancy.
What’s the rough cost if rear uppers ? Front lowers we’re about £550 irc . Was brake pipes last year !! Never ends these old motors !!

i bought the upgraded RRS rear uppers from Advanced Factors and had them fitted by my local indy.
overall cost was around £600 IIRC and thats because they had to cut the old ones out 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Still got the D4 and the caravan lol . Next year I may change….. Anyway MOT this time around was less problematic . I think all the normal age related stuff has now been done . Just the one advisory on brake pads rear . So got them done after the MoT . So all good for by the usual gremlins with a door lock
