Fingers crossed !
What do you think of the sport ? I was a bit disappointed when I saw one at the dealers, it seems to look better in the pictures. Not driven one tho but it doesn't look big enough anyway !Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik

It went all the way back to Pentland in Cupar where i bought it from. Aberdeen is not the place IMO to put a car in for a service etc. too many lease and company cars and generally very poor service
My completely unprofessional opinion on the Discovery Sport HSE Lux loaner would be that it's nice but i prefer the D4 by a long way.
Yeah the toys are nice (Infotainment is much better now) and that panoramic roof is nice 8) but the road noise from the tyres is obvious and the ride comfort is somewhat lacking seemed quite stiff also SWMBO says the heated seats are not as quick to heat but are warmer for longer The gearbox is good and smooth as i would expect, the dial in place of the stick was not that bad IMO.
Having been in my D4 for nearly a year now i much prefer the driving position and room you have in the cockpit. Now on my list of mods is a heated steering wheel i thought they were just a bit gimmicky but once you tried one there is no going back I had a Citroen C-Crosser previously which was a 5+2 and the space available was ok for small kids but not really for adults not sure about the +2 in the Sport there does not look like a lot of room for Adults.
Its funny how you get so used to the level of comfort and commanding driving position in the D4 you forget what its like in other cars.
But the biggest thing i liked was i went to the garage to fill it up ready for collection hopefully later today when i get my D4 back 42 miles roughly half of which is town and the other dual carriageway and i could only just squeeze in £2.55 of diesel and even then i clicked it off a couple of times. The tank must have been brimmed to the brim when it was dropped off. A little embarrassing paying for that at the counter
Would i change the D4? Well unless i get a huge bill for the MOT and Service etc no way would i swap the D4 its perfect for 3 Teenagers with mountain bikes/ ski's/ dog / all sorts of sundry stuff to cart about and not to mention 7 full size seats and go pretty much anywhere ability.
Once the kids are gone i suppose it might be a good compromise to go to the Sport though or i could just move up to a D4 HSE Lux
