I have also heard its now very hard to get anything but third party only cover for Morocco.
I have been doing some planning with a group of explorer scouts who were planning a trip down to the Atlas Mts to do some climbing, and I don't think its going to happen because of insurance problems.
I also read that you can no longer buy short term third party only cover at the border. Not sure if this is true?

Land Rover Insurance provide thirdparty cover for Morocco as standard but dont offer a Fully comp upgrade. Spoke to Zenith underwriters and they said they ca n offer fully comp but it needs to be done through the insurance company
the fully comp polices all seem a bit vague and I could find one that would guarentee to repatriate the vehicle if it couldnt be repaired !!
also couldnt find adequate breakdown insurance - spoke to LRA and the chap their was a bit wooly about it all !! Duncan

Re breakdown cover, Amex & Asda cover Morocco as had same dilemma when looking for cover this year for possible Tunisia trip. Couldn't find any fully comp Ins cover at the beginning of the year at all. I took out the Amex breakdown cover as the annual cost was less than the individual periods for this year through RAC.

NFU would provide a green card for Morocco covering third party but not accidental damage etc.
However, I found that Clements (who have taken over part of Lockton Insurance) would provide the accidental damage etc along with Campbell Irvine. Clements though would not insure the trailer but Campbell Irvine would.

enjoy the souk but you will need your wits about you. Mopeds fly up down the narrow streets tooting their horns at you to get out of the way and they come from all directions. A bloody nightmare when you have hearing in one ear!
