Molle Plate Kit [rear side window mounting plates]

Been on to the Powerful UK website to buy something for the D4
[gloss black mirror caps..... in case someone thinks I've gone bling Laughing ]

Had a look around before I checked out and came across these:-
https://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/land-r...y-3-4.html
They're available in L or R or by the pair [as per the link]

So thinking they may be of interest to some. Wink

They also caught my eye immediately on their youtube channel, but then I gave it some thought and felt there really wasn't anything I'd want to put on them that wouldn't be better off in the boot. Maybe muddy boots perhaps, but a plastic tub in the boot is cheaper

I'm curious to learn of any practical uses though, I might be for turning.

I would've thought they could be used for mounting the New Defender type side "saddle bags"
Or even shovels, recovery boards, kit, etc.

Have a look at their YouTube content, they do indeed stick the new defender side pods on there. I'd still rather have it all inside though. Less likely to get nicked.

i saw these on there You Tube channel, they are trying to copy the mounting plate they designed for their defender and allow side mounting of all manner of whatever stuff you want.... but flipping they are asking a lot of money Shocked

id be more interested if they designed a side ladder like the new defenders as that would make getting into side opening roof boxes etc a lot easier.

These a simply brilliant for accessing the roof. Cheap and effective, and easily stored in the car...

That laser one is great because you can adjust the height of the step.

What about MOLLE plates for mounting on the inside of these windows/space?
I've seen some homemade ones but nothing commercial yet?

That's my thought... if you don't need to see through the glass, inside the car seems so much better.
