| Mobile Pti system VUB501151 & VUB501152 |

i know, strange the likes of me asking this question but truth is i never get a chance to try these things out.
I know there have been many PTI systems on ebay lately but has anyone on here bought one ?
i need to find out if the pre04 part number VUB501151 will fit the later 05 onwards VUB501152.....
i have something (maybe) up my sleeve for a forum donation but need to make sure first.
Has anyone bought a pti and had it still in a box...do you know what part number it was...what year vehicle did you fit it to.
I know the Bluetooth module needs to be the latest...(i have that)...

Nick,
I got the VUB501151 Kit of ebay .
Fitted to Oct 2006 car ..No problem fitting at all.
But as your aware the bluetooth and the other module have both been updated.
Mine worked fine for a week or 2 , then the bluetooth gave up (as your aware  )
Looked at both fitting instructions and they are identical , with the exception of one of the wire colours that fits in the plug on the back of the stereo ...although they go in the same pin number. G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

the vub501151 will have the later XVD500021 module...
looks like i have the next auction for site donation item.....  TLO has left the building.......

Yep that set will do fine.
One other thing i noticed ..which i found strange.
With mine ..it shows up as FORD AUDIO on the bluetooth pairing.
On ENT's who's i fitted ..shows up LANDROVER AUDIO.
Very strange , as your aware i have the latest 2 modules.Cant understand how it can pick up a different name as i would of thought it would have come from the bluethooth module XVJ500122.
Oh and one more point.The steering wheel control (as far as im aware ) only come in the earlier silver colour (the bar for the horn)
On ENT's , he has the later colour.This is no problem as you just unscrew the unit and swap over the silver bar .

i can always find out off the winner what colour wheel controls they have and swap the over if neede with one i have in stock
