MMM / MOST in vehicule signals screen |
|
Hi,
Could someone explain to me what's the difference between the two speed figures displayed in the vehicule signals screen (obtained via the "753" hack): MMM / MOST?
What does MMM mean?
Which of the two figures should be the most accurate?
thanks

MMM is the multimedia module, which I believe would be the GPS derived ground speed.
MOST is Media Oriented System Transport - the Audio system uses this. This speed is the signal from the transmission and anti-lock brake systems.
I am not in the truck to double check these, so these may be backwards. But the one that lags and only updates a few times a second is the GPS ground speed.
As far as which would be more accurate, I would go with the MOST speed. GPS might be more accurate at that exact instant, but the lag between updates isn't so great. 2005 LR3 HSE - ARB Bumper, Warn XD9000, Custom Rock Sliders and Skid Plates, BBS Faultmate MSV-2 Extreme, Kenwood TMD-700, etc, etc,
