Missing throttle response.
Hi called my dealer as my tdv6 acted funny this morning - they said it was normal behavior when voltage is low.
I started the car but got no throttle response first 30 seconds - throttle was 100% disabled. After the 30 secs normal operation started.
Dealer said this happened because i have used my FBH (have timer) too much compared to the distance driven to recharge the battery. When voltage is low the engine starts with only the EMS and most important circuits on, after 30-60 seconds all other circuits will power up and throttle work again. Also alternator light was flashing while this happened.
Have this happened to any of you ?
Cheers
Jakob
PS - If it does it again after "normal" operation to charge batt. i was told to come in and have batt checked for possible warraty replacement.

I have seen people commenting on this type of thing happening when it used to be possible to set the FBH to come on in the settings menu before the enhancement upgrades. Not sure if the cause was established, but it certainly seems to be the same thing you are experiencing.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

I had this happen to me a good while ago when using the old radio trick. It did occur when the fbh was left running for too long. It was not a repeatable situation, but did happen very occasionaly.
