Saw that but new ones have different mirrors wondered if people had used any with the new shape mirrors

I've just got a pair of Milenco Grand Aeros for my MY15. I tried them on the top (curved) section of the wing mirror at the accessory shop before buying and they seemed pretty secure like that. But they can also obviously be fixed on the bottom edge. We are collecting our first caravan on Thursday so haven't yet tested them out in the open road. Is there any recommended preference for stability?
