I am based in Scotland but spend weekdays down in Middlesex

There are plenty of good green lanes in Essex but very few are D3 friendly. Those that are are a long way apart so it would be difficult to put together a decent route for a morning's laning that didn't include loads of road miles in betweenClubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS.
