I just downloaded the very helpful PDF with all the meanings (thanks for that great job btw!)
But i can nowhere find the meaning of this message.
Does anyone know what it means or how to take action?
"Water in Fuel", water & fuel does not mix very well, should i be concerned?
Thanks in advance for anyone that does have a clue!

Can be the sensor that is faulty but can mean the water trap in the fuel filter is doing it's job. Had to get mine changed - new filter and problem sorted. There is a procedure on here somewhere that tells you how to drain it yourself, but I was too lazy....

Draining a diesel...does not sound like something i would do
I let someone do it who knows what he's doing
So it could be actual water in the tank.
That raises another question, how does water come in the tank?
But thanks anyway! I will call de dealer to fix it!

Water gets in the fuel from condensation....it is normal, but they should drain the fuel filter on every service I think....I think it is much more common on cars that have been stored/standing for a long time.
You could easily drain it yourself, but to be honest if you've got this message then I would do what Alex said and just the filter for a new one. 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

The dealer changed the filter today, there was no water in it.
So this message should not be returning anytime soon...
They also changed the fuelcap/door/thingy and the lock of the fuel door/something
(Don't know the correct English word for it)
All was under guarantee, so i was very happy about that!
Had to make another appointment because of a recall action, seems to be a production problem with the fuel pumps?
Going to take another day all in all

Surprised they did that under guarantee! Usually it is because water got into the fuel during storage in the Filling station tanks. As such, not LR's problem. Maybe I'll start using your dealer......

Just to assist the language crossover the words I think you are looking for are:
Fuel flap
and
Lock actuator
Your English is better than my dutch

Draining a diesel filter is no complicated matter, the trick is to get to it
on a D3 as there are covers to remove from the bottom, the older
models were just pop the bonnet and do it. LR have decided to make
us lay on our backs, or put it on a lift/pit to get the job done
To get at the filter you would have to remove the gearbox protective
cover, now the <MY>MY 07 will be to
the rear, above the cross member behind a heat shield next to the
tank, both have drain valves. Open the drain valve and watch the
color of the fluid coming out, clear means water, yellow tint diesel.
When the diesel comes out close the valve "VOALA" done, there
will not be much water in the filter so it will self prime. D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.

Thanks Astonbuilder,
i usually hate it when my wife asks me to fix a "thingy" or to get the "something"
Now its on me i guess
Appointment made, hopefully that stops my Disco from bursting into flames.
I can highly reccomend this dealer, seems that a lot of people in Holland take the extra long drive for this one.
Thanks again for the replies!

What is worse, you probably PAID for it - more than likely it was in the fuel you bought; someone with a leaky underground tank...
Our local ambulance station cannot use its own diesel pump for that reason.

Hello Verydisco,
Last week-end I met this company at the Landrauvergne meeting and bought their "Emergency Suspension Kit". I hope never have to use it...
I also spoke with them about their "ready to install additional filter kit".
Did you install it on your Disco ?
They told me it's easy to install. Is it true ?
Do we have to do anything special as we "open the fuel circuit" when connecting the additional filter (that what I'm afraid of) ?
Is it easy to service it ? What frequency ?
Sincerely,
Set Me Free.
