Checked combinations last night before it started raining.
Eventually went for tow bar, spacer, bracket, tow ball.
Without spacer, it was a little too close to the bumper for my liking

I had one of these on my pathfinder, I had to add a further spacer between ball and bracket (alko towball) to allow full clearance for the caravan alko hitch and maxxraxx bar... One to check before you tow away.

Was thinking about that just now.
Damaged the Thule plate on the Freel2 with the alko frame, when I wasn't really turning very sharply.
I've got spare bolts, I might put the Maxx plate on the higher 2 holes, and keep tow ball on bottom 2. Will see what it looks like tonight.
