Note though that OP is state-side so that GBP equivalent is about 80p per litre. That's a saving of over £53k versus our cost here... 2022 BMW i4 M50. Bought Oct 2022. 10,200 miles and counting...

I don’t look at that way. Sure, it was expensive a few times when I was road tripping around US or trips to Arctic circle or James Bay, but , unlike me ex wife, she never let me down.
Sadly, I don’t daily drive her no more, as I take a train to the City. It will probably take a Century now to get her up to 400000 but rust will be the ultimate demise of her for sure.

Big milestone for us today… 250k on the old girl. Ironically only a few miles away from Solihull when it happened.
Was my dad’s from new in 2005. He passed it on to me about 2 years ago.
Original engine, turbos, injectors, auto box, transfer case, and differentials.
Something in the driveline is making a concerning grumbling sound under load, and has been doing this for a couple of years at least and is slowly getting worse, but still hasn’t made itself obvious and is still driving nicely especially cruising on the motorway.
Hopefully haven’t jinxed it by posting this! Please congratulate the old girl for achieving this milestone

500.000 KM 5th of January 2004 - Year of Make 2006 -
Good afternoon and Happy New Year, to you all!
I have just reached the milestone of 500.000 kms (See picture). My Car is a Disco 3 HSE built in 2006 and the engine was chiptuned in 2011 and has 240 HP and a torque of 520 NM. Delivered and maintained always by the same Landrover Dealer! This is my second Laro 3 HSE and before I drove a Disco 2 HSE. In 20 years the Disco`s (2 + 3) never let me known one single time when on the road (except for a flat tire...which was my own mistake...). When changing the belts (every 160.000 KM I am always also changing the oil pump...Average consumption is 9 Liters / 100 KM. New Goal is set on 750.000 KM - Albert from Luxembourg
